How to transcribe a WhatsApp voice message to text
Long WhatsApp voice notes are easy to send and pretty inconvenient to listen to when you can't turn the sound on, or when you're trying to find one specific thing that was said. Here are the most common ways to turn them into text.
Option 1: WhatsApp's built-in transcription
WhatsApp includes a feature that transcribes the voice note right in the chat — press and hold the message, or turn it on under Settings → Chats → Voice message transcripts. It's free and works well for short, clear messages.
