What can I create with AI from a recording?+
In Study you get flashcards and a practice test with a score, an explanation for every answer and the minute where it was covered. In Create with AI you generate, in one click, the follow-up email, the minutes, a WhatsApp or Slack message, a LinkedIn post, an outline, a glossary, a 5-minute review or a simple explanation — in another language too. Free includes 6 creations a month; Standard and Unlimited, unlimited (fair use). Reopening something you already created is free.
What's the difference between Work mode and Student mode?+
Work mode is built for meetings and calls: minutes, decisions and tasks with owners. Student mode is built for classes: organized notes, outlines, exam questions and flashcards. You choose the mode and a style before processing each recording, and each style genuinely changes the content.
What does the Free-plan watermark look like?+
PDFs on the Free plan carry a SwiftBOL watermark, and other exports (Word, TXT, Notion, Google Docs and copy) include a short line at the end. Standard or Unlimited removes it from every new export.
Can I pay yearly, and is it cheaper?+
Yes. Standard is €99.99 + VAT a year and Unlimited €199.99 + VAT a year: the equivalent of two months free compared with paying monthly. You can switch plan or billing cycle whenever you like from Billing, prorated.
How do public share links work?+
From any session you generate a unique swiftbol.com/share/ link and send it by WhatsApp or email. Whoever opens it sees the summary, chapters and key points, and can take the quiz and review the flashcards you created, without signing up. You can turn the link off at any time.
Do I get anything for recommending SwiftBOL to friends?+
Yes: for every 10 friends who sign up with your link or code and finish their first transcription, we give you 1 month of the Standard plan (if you already pay, it comes off your next invoice). They also get 15% off their first payment. It works with every account, including free ones, and you'll find your link and code under Plans in your dashboard, where you can also change your code to one you like. Up to 12 months per account; full terms in section 13 of the Terms.
What happens if I leave a recording running with nobody talking?+
If the microphone picks up no sound for 9 minutes in a row, a “Still there?” prompt appears. Tap “I'm still here” and it carries on; otherwise the recording stops by itself at 10 minutes, so you don't use up hours by mistake. Everything recorded up to then is kept.
Which files and sizes can I upload?+
mp3, wav, m4a and mp4. Files up to 50 MB. If your file is bigger, export it as a 64 kbps mp3 (that fits over an hour and a half in 50 MB) or split it into parts. In the browser you can record up to 3 hours in one go.
Does it spell names and jargon correctly?+
Settings has a personal glossary: write down the names, brands and technical terms you use once and SwiftBOL respects them in the transcript and summary. And if something's off, you can fix it right in the session.
What if the transcription or summary fails?+
The session is marked as failed with an explanation and not a single minute is taken from your plan. You can try again right away. If the summary fails but the transcript didn't, you keep the transcript.
Can I use SwiftBOL on my phone?+
Yes: on iPhone, iPad, Android, Mac and Windows, in the browser with nothing to install (you can also add it to your home screen like an app). If you opened the link inside Instagram, TikTok or an email app and it won't record, open it in Safari or Chrome.
Can I delete a session or my whole account?+
You can delete individual sessions — and their audio — at any time. You can delete your account from Settings: the subscription is cancelled, your data is removed immediately and disappears from encrypted backups within 30 days.
Is there a team or multi-user plan?+
The Unlimited plan includes a team space to share and comment on sessions with up to 10 people. If your company needs more meeting-assistant hours, more users or a single invoice for the whole team, email support@swiftbol.com and we'll put together a tailored plan.
